Our Story

Ramsey Community Centre was opened in 2011 by Shailesh Vara, the local MP for Ramsey. This was the culmination of the hopes of several organisations who had fund-raised for many years to ensure that Ramsey had it's own community building for meetings.  

The hall is managed by a group of Trustees, registered with the Charity Commission and known as the Ramsey Community Centre Trust. 

Many groups use the hall, ranging from Mother and Toddler groups to the University of the 3rd Age, thereby covering a wealth of ages.  Specialist organisations such as the Camera Club or Pilates offer individual opportunities for people to have different experiences.  

There are many clubs attending Ramsey Community Centre who offer so much to the health and well-being of the community without differentiation to age or opportunity.

Local Area for Play (LAP). A grassed area of open space at the front with play equipment designed for younger children mainly between the ages of 4 - 6 years old.
